Jonathan Slason, P.E is a sole practitioner assisting those with peer reviews, signal, road, or active mode design, and traffic operational analysis in New Zealand and USA. 

My experience has been focused on delivering traffic and transportation schemes in a wide variety of settings, from initial strategies and business plans to final design and construction review. My primary role has been lead transportation engineer responsible for the delivery of numerous road, bike, and public transportation projects – through investigation/planning and design.

I have worked with organizations, municipalities, states, and other government jurisdictions of all sizes to assess the transportation impacts of development and land use changes while encouraging economic strength, diversity, and sustainability.

I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) with dual degrees in Civil Engineering and Economics. The combined focus has enabled me to leverage both disciplines to implement methods of sustainable development focusing on the importance of transportation as it interacts with industry, local economic development, social equity, housing, and community resilience.
